Found a great series of Illustrator tutorials on You Tube, by a talented guy named Clay Butler. Including the rough sketch, this took me about half an hour. Of course, for some unknown reason my program crashed and I had to restart, but even including that bump, I'd say it was closer to 40-45 minutes. I have to practice his technique more, but I am always happy to add to my skills.

Latest cartoon for Sharon O Malley. With summer comes higher energy usage due to running the air conditioner. Awnings and honey comb shades can help to keep you cool, and reduce your bill.
I was very pleased with how this came out, and I really like the look on the house's face, kind of wistful.
