One of my memories from living in New Jersey was watching The Uncle Floyd Show. It's kinda hard to explain but I'll try: One half hour filled with local talent, like The Ramones, with music, bad jokes, equally bad skits, and Uncle Floyd trying to play a song on his piano while being interrupted by Looney Skip Rooney, Oogie, or Bones Boy.
(Snap it, Pal!) At the end of the show, while Uncle Floyd supplied the music, they would do weird stuff...like using the puppet, Hugo, the Man of 1,000 Faces, to dance and get up in the camera, extremely close-up, and stare.
That always made me laugh.

I am Deacon JIM, or was any who for a few secs on the UFS when I got the Uncle Floyd Viewer of the Week Award ANNOUNCED! (that's right, ANNOUNCED! on TV for all to hear ( and oh yeah DB was Listening, wrote a song about us all, my apologies to BonesBoy.)
Hey snap me down palsy! It's the uncle Floyd show. The gang's all here, and Uncle Floyd would start the show with his puppet pal Oogie. They were extremely funny!
The funniest was when Looney Skip Rooney had laughed and screamed out loud, or just chuckle while watching the act from the audience.
There were some really funny acts and characters like, Eddie Slobbo, Ms. Julia Stepchild,
etc. Tons of fans would send in fan art, and Floyd would showcase them on the show. I remember that long after the show no longer aired, as the NJ network no longer came in, various clips of the show was shown on a Nickelodeon tv series Turkey Television.
Oogie told a very funny story once on how a frog went to the bank to apply for a loan, with nothing but a tiny little antique elephant.
